Named For?:
Curt Flood was a Major League Baseball player who challenged the league's reserve clause in a suit that went before the Supreme Court as Flood v. Kuhn. He died of throat cancer the day before the bill was introduced.

Amends the Clayton Act to specify that baseball is subject to antitrust laws. Named for MLB player Curt Flood, who was litigant in SCOTUS case Flood v. Kuhn that overturned Federal Baseball Club. Senate and House bills were introduced on the first day of the 105th Congress. The House version (introduced by Conyers) was HR 21, for Flood's uniform number for the Cardinals.
